Ooh, I have a new favorite author

The other day I realized that I haven't had time to sit down and read this author's books. She's new to me although to date she has four books published. The covers look nice. The back blurbs make the stories seem like generic Regency historical stuff. I wasn't expecting much when I started reading one book...

So, four books later, I'm in heaven. Let's just say that when I sit down and write up the reviews, two of them will be keepers while I'm still unsure whether I merely really like one more or it is a keeper as well. A rereading is in order, I think. Of the two keepers, one of them is a keeper keeper, if you know what I mean. I haven't been this excited about an author since I discovered Connie Brockway.

I'll keep the identity of the author to myself for now. If you really want to know, I'll just say her name starts with J, she writes historicals, she has four books out, and she is not published with Avon, Dorchester, Zebra, Signet, Berkley, Bantam, HQN/MIRA, or Pocket.

She's good, isn't she? Which ones are the keepers? My favourite so far is Beauty and the Spy. Hope you will be posting your reviews of her books.

Oh, wow! I love her, too! She just gets better and better with each book! I love Ways to be Wicked the very best so far. This woman has a knack for dialog and humor! I've kept all four of her books - eagerly awaiting the fifth!:)
