Okay, so it's Ann Somerville we are talking about here, which, for some people out there, is enough reason to go, "Ah, no wonder!" and move along.
But honestly now, I find myself amused by her latest rant against teddypig here:
(Cut and paste the link to your browser URL bar - she bans traffic from this blog to hers because she has decided that I am her enemy.)
What am I supposed to think when we have a straight woman accusing a gay man for being a homophobe over a matter that is more about online privacy than homophobia? It's quite funny, really. The other accusations Ann hurled at Teddypig ("vitriolic tirade of abuse", "revolting hate campaign") are pure nonsense - you only have to go to Teddypig's blog and search for entries related to Beautiful Cocksucker to see how Teddypig reacted. Compare that to the reactions of Paul and Ann in that saga.
Ann has comments that are valid but she always just have to resort to hyperbolic character assassination at the same time. And in this instance, I feel that I should speak up for Teddypig here, because Ann's accusations in this instance are plain wrong when it comes to his supposed crimes against Ann and gay men in general.
