Without doubt, the cover of the year

I have been trying to be good and not poke at the wasp hive that is self-published people since the last blow-up in this blog, but this one is really begging for a punchline. Feel free to click on the thumbnail to get a larger image for you to study at your leisure.

The Pussy Eater by Jackie Christian

If you have read the book, I'm always interested in your opinion of it.

Are you serious? That's a real book?

missy, yes, just look on kindle.

i haven't read the author, but her other covers are far more conventional

we were looking at this pic on amazon in my house about two nights ago, it caused about 15 minutes of belly laughs - but please, Mrs. G, not all self-p belong to the crap collective

i still feel terrible about the commotion this pic caused in my house - i was on the phone at the same time about a funeral and even with that couldn't suppress my mirth.

I think I threw up in my mouth. Really Mrs G, I am speachless, and that takes a lot. but this is in no way representative of self-pub books. I have seen bad, but not nearly this bad. Good lord.

I have to go boil my brain in vinegar and lye now, are you happy? I think I would have been happy not to seek out more information on TPE, but, nooooooooooo. You had to haul out that picture and now I've gone and read pages from here

Happy now?

Oh, and I'll add, I like a good sex story. Key word being "good".

I have a problem stopping sometimes, you know? Here is the publisher web site

Yes, I know, you're horrified because some of them might follow me back. And if they do? I believe it's called karma :P

It's like walking into a spider's web...Atlantic Library owned by naima bint harith, involuntary mistress to osama bin ladin.

Okay--not that you need me to fully bless your deleting my posts, but I do so. This has the potential for amazing blog insanity. A huge mushroom cloud of lulz on the horizon.

I still can't stop smiling.

This cover beats "The Prince Who Never Smiled" by a country mile. Or two. Meh, did you read an excerpt of the book? Is it worse than the cover? Inquiring minds and all that...

Oh, my! I wonder how well it is selling. I think that publisher took too seriously the idea that any publicity is good publicity.

I read the free sample, Dr. Laura definitely makes this author feel extra stabby. Though TBH the small section I got to read, was so amazingly bad that it's brilliant (from lulz perspective at least). I'm tempted to buy it,to see how much further it can go. But I try to refrain from supporting bad books or Libraries that promote drowning tigers. = )

I was one of the dorks passing this link around last week, and I actually read the excerpts. My eyes will never be the same. At one point the heroine called the hero a "period-eating fucktard" after he told her that her hoo-ha stank like rotten garbage.

Literature at its best.
