Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy

It's quite amusing how many different versions of Wuthering Heights I can find on YouTube.

Here is the original by Kate Bush. At the peak of her career, it was said that she would polish off a brick-sized bundle of marijuana daily.

Hayley Westenra decides that she is up to playing the ghost of Catherine Earnshaw too.

Angra decides to turn the song into all about the rock and roll.

Then there is the "WTF is this?" choral version by the Sweptaways.

The Kate Bush version was just weird with the dancing. The second video--talk about a ghost without any emotion. The rock had a promising start and sort of petered out. And the choral singing in the school gym thing--that poor guy being carried around!

I had a good time staring and chortling, though :P. Thanks for the laugh. I'm still blinking at Kate Bush's vermillion-red disaster.

Hey, that's my exact reaction to those performances too. Except that I can forgive Kate Bush's weirdness - she's a goddess if you ask me, I love her kookiness so, so much!
