An author wrote to me back in December 2006 saying that she enjoyed my not-so-flattering review of her book. Today she wrote to me a typical YOU ARE SO MEAN BUT OH WELL, LET ME GET ON MY HIGH HORSE AND SAY THAT I AM A BETTER PERSON THAN YOU note... for the very same review that she supposedly enjoyed back in 2006.

I checked the IP number and those two notes are from the same source, so it's the same person we are talking about.

Maybe she had amnesia between 2006 and 2008? Maybe she's hoping to use the tried-and-true blog machinery to generate word of mouth about her book? Whatever it is, I'm confused by her behavior.

Maybe because it's suddenly become fashionable and acceptable to kick reviewers in the nuts, and she's trying to be in with the 'in' crowd?

Seen a lot of that lately. People who hated someone's guts cuddling up to them just because the other person opened a publishing house. And other former friends cutting each other because of a lack of usefulness in said friend.

Never mind. She a idjit :(

I'd copy her original email and send it back to her. That is hilarious.
